These shawls were very popular in the twenties, inspired by the newly discovered Tutenkamun tombs excavated by Carter and Lord Caernavon. I have had a few of these shawls over the years but this one is flawless and a rare thing.
20" wide X 88" long.
Art Deco geometric pattern is made of gold metal hand beaten into the cotton net fabric. Not real gold.
